Oh no!

You are reading my web manifesto The in-text version of the principles I believe and follow when I try to improve the web.

  1. Accessibility is not a feature or an enhancement. It's a bug that needs to be fixed.
  2. Complexity is just a pile of simple things.
  3. You have two options in your design; choose the simplest.
  4. HTML tags will always win over a div plus JavaScript.
  5. You have your own bias that muddles your test.
  6. Most websites have boring semantics made of divs.
  7. If you find a bug, try to fix it now.
  8. It's working for you, maybe not for others.

Writing this manifesto was inspired by a toot from @kipano on Mastodon.
